City Mouse | Country Mouse Show

Happy Thursday!

Over the last couple of years friend and art lover, Lesley Frenz, has been curating art on her blog Artsy Forager. AF grew out of Lesley's passion for art, and her desire to deliver her favorite works to the public through the web. She has since created Found, an online gallery that is the product of her efforts to bring small works exhibitions to the online sphere.

Alongside the Nashville Zoo, GIFA is pleased to sponsor Found's very first exhibition which will feature work from GIFA artists Christina Baker and Deann Hebert. The show is going on now through March 28th with proceeds benefitting the Nashville Zoo.

And, if you don't already follow Lesley on Pinterest, we highly suggest you do! - Huffington Post recently named  as one of the top 5 Pinners to follow, and has a great art selection board!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We decided it would be fun to put together a collection of what we think are some great Valentine's Day gift ideas for the guy or gal in your life, and all you last minute shoppers out there. Hopefully this will leave you inspired, and wanting to share the love this Valentine's Day!

Charlotte Show Off to a Great Start!

We arrived in NC yesterday, and had a great opening for our annual Charlotte Show! We met lots of new faces, and reconnected with friends of GIFA. We'll be posting more photos of the show in the next few days, but for now here is a peek at the show! Enjoy :)

Sara Cameli is Getting Back to the Basics

We cannot believe February is here, and with only a few more resolutions to go we thought we would devote today's post to Sara Cameli. This year, Sara is resolving to, "paint outside more often and get back to my real love - landscapes!"

We can't wait to see what the year ahead has in store for Sara and her art - just thinking about this gets us excited for our upcoming "First Day of Spring Show," which will feature new work from Sara Cameli and Erin McIntosh. The show will run from March 20th thru April 6th. Be sure to mark this on your calendars, and check our website and Facebook fan page for more details on the show - you will not want to miss it! Sara's work will also be featured in our upcoming Charlotte Show, which kicks off next week!

If you have been following our resolution posts then you already know that Holly Phillips (of The English Room) is a big fan of our artists. Here is a Sara Cameli painting placed by Holly - a perfect piece for a perfectly designed room!
