House of Turquoise Latest: Olive Interiors' Beautiful Vignettes Featuring Work from Erin McIntosh and Ritva Porter

Happy Wednesday!

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!

Last Friday, House of Turquoise posted a fantastic blog entry giving readers a first look at some beautiful vignettes designed by Leigh Olive Mowry, principal of Atlanta-based Olive Interiors. Leigh commissioned Erin McIntosh's painting for above the desk, and Ritva Porter's landscape painting in the living room. Both placements are absolutely stunning, and we could not have imagined a more perfect setting for these two paintings!

New Work from Sara Cameli + An Inside Look at Her Studio

Great new pieces are in!

If you've been a fan of Sara's aspen tree paintings, then you must stop by the gallery to see her newest selection of work - stunning as always!

Sara at the gallery this morning, dropping off paintings and brightening up an otherwise cloudy day:

Our artists have really been popping up in the blogging world lately, and we couldn't be more proud! Most recently, Michelle Toole, author of The Toolshed, along with her photographer, Christopher Martin, gave us an inside look at GIFA artist Sara Cameli - Sara dishes on everything from her favorite artist down to her favorite cereal, and there's even a few photos taken inside her studio...

The Art of Framing

One of our favorite blogs, Things That Inspire, just put out a great post that explores the often overlooked design element of framing. There are so many ways to frame up a wall or space, and Holly (Things That Inspire) shows us some stunning examples of beautifully designed large groupings - two of the examples are from this year's Symphony Showhouse.

Holly's post inspired us to share with you what some of our favorite groupings are... and you may even recognize some of these from what is currently in the gallery:

Fish Series by Blanche Quinn, 6" by10,"  $250 each

"End of Day" Diptych by Ritva Porter, 24" by 48"

Kate Merritt Davis wood panels, 11.5" by 11.5" $200 each

Casey Matthews' series, 24" by 30" on gallery wrap, $880 each
