Pretty Pretty Please!

Pretty rooms with floral decor! We love how the variety of floral prints below mixed with the right art makes the rooms glow!

Floral Living Room Elle Decor Trendspotting Boho Chic

Not too girly with all the fun that flowers bring to a room!

Pattern Access Collections Elle Decor

There's nothing wrong with creating a completely girly-girl space that is all grown up!

Love this wallpaper, now all it needs is some art!

Check out The Art Selectress picks to get your floral inspired room started. Sometimes all you need is a great pillow like Katherine Ireland's design below!

1. Katherine Ireland fabric, Safi Suzani Fiesta 22" pillow, 2. Horchow turquoise lamp, 3. Erin Gregory painting at Gregg Irby Fine Art, 4. Southern France Glazed Bowl from Katerine Ireland Room

Let's get Primary!

Going back to the basics with primary colors! We love how the rooms below use solid blues, reds and yellows to make a normally quiet room really pop! Plus, check out how they placed their art in cool, unique, unexpected places.

We love the piece of art in the back left corner. Art placement doesn't have to be tricky. Sometimes putting a smaller piece somewhere unique can be the finishing touch to any room.

Notice the small framed photograph above the yellow chair. Clean, simple and truly intriguing!

The seascape painting above the dresser drawers brings the colors in this room together without being too matchy. We love how the lines in the rug lead you to the path in the painting!

Michelle Armas in Southern Living

Check out Michelle Armas in Southern Living's May issue!

Designer Lindsey Ellis Beatty took advantage of the vaulted wall space and flanked Michelle Armas paintings with the white ceramic buck.

This sunroom came to life with bright and bold patterns on classic upholstered pieces. We love the fun bar cart in the corner that welcomes you when you enter. Notice the triangular pop of turquoise with book, vase and pillow!

Keeping UP with Gallery Walls!

Art all the way up to the ceiling? Why not! Creating gallery walls that extend to the top, or placing art above doorways, is a great way to keep things interesting! Use the height in your room to create a fresh, truly cool room.
